CLT Shooters is proud to present our Photography Essentials Workshop, hosted in collaboration with Rick Belden Photography — a very experienced photographer with over 35 years of experience, more than 100 magazine covers, and a passion for teaching the craft.
This hands-on workshop is designed to help new and developing photographers make the jump from taking simple snapshots to creating intentional, well-composed photographs.
Who It’s For
This class is ideal for beginners ready to learn the fundamentals and intermediate photographers looking for a skill refresh. Whether you’re just picking up a camera or rediscovering your creative side, this workshop is built to help you grow.
What You’ll Learn
Under Rick’s guidance, you’ll explore what it takes to create powerful images through both technical understanding and creative vision.
Learn to control exposure, composition, and camera settings
Understand the relationship between aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and focus modes
Apply what you learn to real-world scenarios to capture memorable images
What to Bring
To get the most from this class, please bring:
Your camera and manual
One lens of your choice
A notepad for jotting down settings and insights
We recommend having basic camera knowledge — like making simple adjustments to aperture, shutter, ISO, and focus modes — and reading your camera manual before attending.
